Everywhere was nowhere, and nowhere everywhere: curated by Mustafa Hulusi

Based between London and Nice, Salvatore Arancio (b. 1974) questions our changing perceptions of images and meaning through re-framing or re-arranging our view. His practice therefore embodies elements of everything from the fantastic and mythological to the scientific and the natural world. Juxtaposition both visually and conceptually here results in the confusing, yet evocative works we see on display. There is a clear intervention of the psychological, the sexual and sensuous, in the more overtly natural forms of Arancio’s sculptures.
