Kemal Seyhan's work is now exhibited in NOC Whampoa in Hong Kong, a special place offering a curated experience of coffee with high taste in design. Seyhan's work will be in display in NOC Whampoa until March 2020. Hereby the story of this special meeting.
On the wall across from the coffee bar, NOC Whampoa features a painting from Kemal Seyhan, Turkish-Austrian contemporary artist based in Istanbul and represented by Pi Artworks. The Classic Blue colour pops from the grey concrete wall, offering a calming influence and inspiration, while the straight lines compliment the uncluttered surroundings. Kemal’s work is the first in a series to feature both international and local artists in NOC Whampoa.
Facing the waterfront of Victoria Harbour, NOC Whampoa is NOC's first location in Kowloon. Nestled within Whampoa Garden and just minutes away from the Hung Hom Ferry Pier, the new space will be bringing a sophisticated yet minimal coffee experience to the neighbourhood that was once one of the largest ship docks in Asia.
