Pi Artworks is delighted to share that Jyll Bradley will present a screening of two films – M.R. (2021) and The Meeting (2025) – at The Grand in Folkestone on Sunday 31 May, reflecting on her experience of childhood adoption.
The screening will be followed by a conversation between the artist and former Folkestone Triennial curator Lewis Biggs.
Jyll Bradley works across installation, photography, sculpture, film and performance. Her iconic installation Green/Light (for M.R.) was commissioned by Creative Folkestone for the Folkestone Triennial in 2014. A photographic work from Bradley’s series of youthful self-portraits dressed as Orlando from the Virginia Woolf novel is currently on display in The Green Room at The Grand.
