The Edirne Biennial: Jyll Bradley | Osman Dinc

21 May - 28 June 2026

The Edirne Biennial, with its theme of "bridges," is an international art gathering that brings together different cultures and eras. The Biennial aims to make contemporary art visible in all its disciplines within the historical and living fabric of the city; and to create social and cultural dynamism through the participation of artists, viewers, young people, and students. Supporting international collaborations between the local and the universal through curatorial projects, workshops, trainings, panels, and performances, the Edirne Biennial aims to transform the city into a center that builds lasting bridges guided by art and thought.

The biennale, shaped by Edirne's rich heritage, was born with the aim of establishing a network of cultural interaction around the theme of "bridges." Bringing together different disciplines through the collaboration of important institutions in the field of culture and arts, this structure transforms into an international gathering that unites artists and audiences.

The aim is to connect the transformative power of art with society, to ensure the active participation of young people and students in the art production process, and to create a sustainable cultural exchange platform through biennials and inter-institutional collaborations. Through trainings, workshops, and multiple curatorial projects, the goal is to translate local values into a universal language.
