Conceived as a dynamic platform engaging directly with the city, Art Show: Galeriler Buluşması 2026 opened in Istanbul. Organized under the umbrella of the International Association of Art Galleries (USGD), the event began with a VIP preview on Thursday, February 12, and was open to the public from February 13–15.
Launched with the goal of strengthening the institutional framework of the gallery profession and fostering a transparent, solidarity-based art ecosystem, Art Show 2026 emphasized collective production and collaboration over competition. The event brought together galleries representing Turkey’s art market on an international level within a non-hierarchical and accessible structure.
Hosting the Art Show for the first time this year, 2Plan Terminal – Etiler welcomed 28 galleries. In addition to solo and duo presentations reflecting each gallery’s program, the event also featured a series of talks bringing together key figures from the art world.
