Pursuit of a Happy Person : An interactive opera performance at Pi Artworks London

Pi Artworks London 25 November 2022
Pi Artworks London Free entry 5:00 - 6:30 pm

An opera performance and drinks reception at Pi Artworks London in celebration of Fabio Lattanzi Antinori’s solo exhibition Chased by Unicorns.

Opera singer Luciana Di Bella (soprano) will be responding to Antinori’s artwork, interrogating the relationship between consumerism and happiness, in turn prompting our own consideration of whether ‘happiness’ as a construct can ever truly exist.

Combining technology, philosophy, vocal and visual art, Pursuit of a Happy Person creates poetry from the structures that shape our everyday lives – drawing attention to both the sinister role of ungoverned data collection within consumer capitalism, but also the potential for art and beauty within these marketing and informational spheres – a potentiality emphasised by Antinori’s work across the exhibition.
