Pi Artworks is thrilled to announce it's participation in Frieze Sculpture Park 2023, with not one, but two artists being displayed in London this October.
Holly Stevenson’s near-life-size ceramic installation, The Debate (2023) sees the artist combine figuration, abstraction and surrealism to reference traditional ceramic forms, while playfully seeking to inspire questions of reproduction, our socio-political climate and the relationship between the charming and the monstrous. Similarly, this work shall be a centre for audience interaction within the park, with an Egg Act performance: EGGISM - How Would you Eat Yours?taking place throughout the fair week, created by Stevenson and curator Huma Kabakci.
The Debate is a joint Frieze proposal between Pi Artworks and Sid Motion Gallery.
